Vitamin D Regiment

So I have struggled with low Vitamin D for years (probably even as early as my teen years) (thank you gene mutation). I never knew that was the issue but in hindsight it is obvious. My biggest symptoms were insomnia and miscarriages (after kids added in brain fog, hair loss, the inability to lose weight). It wasn’t until I hit my 30s and baby #4 that I realized there was an issue and I needed to fix it. I have been diagnosed with low vitamin d before; but was tossed a supplement that did nothing so I later forget about it. After having baby #5 and taking a HIGH dose supplement for year only to still feel tired and STILL have a vitamin D level in the 30s (my goal is 70 but ultimate goal is 100); I joined a Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/736193223162033) with a VERY strict vitamin D regime (down the the brands). Two months later I was a new person and my levels doubled (whoohoo!). I felt a bit overwhelmed joining the group so I thought I would make a post with links to the specific vitamins to make this easy.
Also know low vitamin D levels and bad COVID19 outcomes are very much connected so this is important for everyone.

First off, over a few weeks you need to WORK YOUR WAY UP to these doses. These are the final doses that you need to stay on. Don’t start at this dosage right out the gate.
1. You MUST eat 14 grams of fat WITH your vitamin D3 and K2; if you don’t you just as well throw your vitamin into the toilet. Make sure you take them in the morning because they make you have energy and be unable to sleep.

2. Vitamin D3 15,000iu (3 pills)- https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0050MYHBQ/?coliid=I3F7542HWCTERW&colid=QRI769TVI51X&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it_im

3. Vitamin K3 200mcg (2 pills)- https://www.amazon.com/absorption-clinically-Formulated-Certified-Veggie-Softgels/dp/B00JGCPAYY?pd_rd_w=Lj9Uw&pf_rd_p=ba22ea03-d3c1-4ebb-8d3e-472aa0cf3b30&pf_rd_r=S0RJAM7RFEFBPSDQGJ3Y&pd_rd_r=c096a60b-7e1e-4f26-a197-8bd442f3d185&pd_rd_wg=2h34q&pd_rd_i=B00JGCPAYY&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_rp_1_i
This brand is VERY important do not buy another brand! Ask me how I know.

4. THIS IS AT NIGHT. Before bed take Magnesium Glycinate 400mg (1 pill) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SZJPBG9/?coliid=I10G01PHYBLTWT&colid=QRI769TVI51X&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it.

5. And finally once you have done this protocol for 1 month (on full dosage). You will want to add in Magnesium Malate 1500mg with your morning vitamins. (3 pills) https://doublewoodsupplements.com/products/magnesium-malate

So a few other things I take just for general wellness is
Zinc: https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Zinc-Picolinate-50mg-Capsules/dp/B001F0R6ZG/ref=sr_1_6?crid=1MZW2RUUDSN9G&dchild=1&keywords=zinc+picolinate+50mg&qid=1628362211&sprefix=Zinc+Pico%2Caps%2C208&sr=8-6

And Vitamin C 4,000mg split into 1000mg doses 4 times a day, I usually only do this much if I am sick. But when you do this and get the runs you know its time to back down on the dose because you have reached your “flush”. I love this site, if you browse around they have kid powders which make it easy for kids to take but you need a frother! https://revitalizewellness.org/collections/frontpage/products/vitamin-c-as-ascorbic-acid-16oz-fine-powder

VERY IMPORTANT!! If you do not know your vitamin d level you need to get it checked! And when on the protocol you need to test yourself every few months. I use this website to do that: https://www.everlywell.com/products/vitamin-d-test/

Be sure to join the group and ask questions there if you have any!
